The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is the gateway to Europe and also a place whose history goes back centuries. Today, a dynamic development trend and innovation play an influential role in shaping a new model for regional prosperity in the region.
The aim of our region, initiatives and implementation of those actions that lead to sustainable and dynamic way through coordination, organization and establish development guidelines.
With the compass, it seeks our participation in co-funded projects with a range of items starting from the environment and culture and leads to innovation and the promotion of the tourism product in our region.
The Region participates in inter-regional, cross-border, transnational and sectoral programs aimed at first hand the development and promotion of comparative advantages and, secondly, the acquisition of modern know-how and innovative methods to integrate administrative functions.
