Library cards are issued to all ages. You must have your library card to borrow any materials. This helps insure your privacy and prevents abuse.

Maximum loan limits are 20 titles at one time independent of the type of materials borrowed. Library materials may be returned to the library or bookmobile.

When the library is closed materials may be returned in the drop box located on the right side of the building. Due to the size of circulating collections, the library has placed limitations on the number of items a patron may borrow.

Over one hundred forty magazines, eight local, regional and state newspapers are available for public use in the library. The Hazard-Herald newspaper on microfilm dates back to 1910.

When the library is closed materials may be returned in the drop box located in the drive thru on the side of the building. The library will make every reasonable accommodation to assist qualified disabled persons wishing to make use of library facilities or services. If such accommodation is required, patrons are asked to notify any library employee.
